Who is responsible for your data?

What data do I collect?

You can browse the site freely. When you open a tool page, a guide, or when you reach the result of a test, I ask for your first name and your email, once. Your answers to a test stay in your browser: they are not sent to my server. You tick a box to agree to receive an email when I add new tools to the list. I only use your email for that. I keep it in my database until you unsubscribe. To unsubscribe or erase your data, write to me at contact@zooti.fr. Emails are sent from my own mailing tool (listmonk, hosted on my own server) with the Resend service, which delivers the messages. Every email has a link to unsubscribe in one click. Your choice is noted in your browser's memory (key “zooti.acces.v1”) so that I don't ask you again.

When you answer the “find your ideal stack” quiz, I collect:

• your Instagram account (I do not ask for your first name or your email address);
• your answers: type of creator, income level (as a range), goals, blockers, tasks that take your time, AI assistant used;
• the calculated result (the tools suggested to you).

I collect nothing else about you. I use no advertising cookies.

Page views: to know which pages are read and which video brings visitors, my site counts page views, without cookies. It only sends the page address and the code of my link (e.g. ?v=reel12). It sends no identifier, I do not keep your IP address, and nothing is stored on your device. So I cannot know who you are or follow you from one visit to the next. If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is sent.

Clicks on tool links: when you click a tool's button, I count the click to know which tools interest you. I only keep the tool's name and the code of my link (e.g. ?v=reel12), with no cookie, no IP address and no identifier. I cannot know who clicked. You then arrive on the tool's own site, which has its own privacy policy. Some links are affiliate links: if you subscribe through such a link, I may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you.

I also use Umami, a statistics tool that I host myself on my own server (stats.zooti.fr). It sets no cookie. It records the page viewed, your country, your device type and where you came from, and counts visitors anonymously with a code that changes every day. I share this data with nobody.

Video page: on the video page, I count how many people start the video, how far they watch (in steps of 5%), when they leave, how long they watch and whether they click the button below. Each signal only sends a step name and the code of my link (e.g. ?v=reel12), with no cookie, no IP address and no identifier. I cannot link these signals to a person, nor know which Instagram account watched. If the video is a YouTube one, the YouTube player (cookie-free version, youtube-nocookie.com) loads and YouTube applies its own privacy policy.

Audit page: if you click “Pick a time”, the Cal.com calendar loads and receives your name, email and chosen time to book the call. Nothing is loaded until you click. See Cal.com's privacy policy.

What is it used for?

To show you the tools that fit your situation and to improve my advice. I do not sell your data.

On what legal basis?

For your first name and email: your consent (the box you tick). You can withdraw it at any time. For the quiz and page views: my legitimate interest, suggesting the right tools and improving the site. You can object to this processing at any time by writing to me.

Where is it stored, and for how long?

In a database hosted on a server that I manage myself, at HOSTINGER INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, 61 Lordou Vironos str., 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. Only the publisher has access to it. I keep the data for a maximum of 3 years after my last exchange with you, then I delete it.

What stays on your device

So that you don't have to redo the quiz, your result and your answers are kept in your browser's memory (local storage), on this device only. This is not a tracking cookie. The language you choose with the FR | EN button is also kept there. You can erase everything with the “Redo the quiz” button or by deleting the site's data in your browser.

Your rights

You can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, or object to its use. Write to me at contact@zooti.fr and include your Instagram account, and I will reply as soon as I can. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
