Before you start: gather your texts (10 minutes)
Take 10 to 15 texts that really sound like you: captions, emails, messages, scripts. Not necessarily the most viewed. Pick the ones you said or wrote quickly, without rereading them ten times.
For your videos, take what you say, not only the caption: your voice is in the way you speak. In CapCut, generate the automatic captions then export them as a text file. No editing? Record yourself on 5 topics you know well and use your phone’s dictation.
Put everything in one document, with a title before each text. Never include client data.
The message to copy
You are going to help me create my VOICE SHEET, so that you write like me. I'm not technical: talk to me in simple words and go one step at a time.
I attached my texts (captions, emails, transcripts of my videos). Use only these texts, invent nothing.
Step 1. Analyse my texts and write my voice sheet with: how I speak (sentence length, rhythm, informal or formal address), my openings, my endings, the words I keep using, what I never say, the typical structure of a short piece of content, and 3 “very me” sentences. For each point, quote a passage from my texts as proof. If you lack examples for a point, write “not enough examples”.
Step 2. Ask me 5 questions to check what you understood about me, then wait for my answers.
Step 3. Fix the sheet with my answers and show it to me in full. Ask me what isn't me, which word I hate, and what's missing.
Step 4. When I approve, give me two blocks of text ready to copy: (a) my final voice sheet; (b) instructions to paste into a Claude Project named “My voice”, telling you to write in my voice, reread my sheet before every answer, never invent figures or results, give me a draft first, and ask me a single question if my request is vague. Explain in 3 lines where to paste each block.
Step 5. Offer to write my first reel script in my voice right away. Ask me for the topic, the audience and the goal.
How it works
- Open a new conversation in Claude.
- Attach your document, copy the message above and paste it.
- Answer its questions. Claude does the rest and tells you what to copy into your Project.
To make it work well
- Reread the sheet at step 3. If it’s wrong, everything that follows is wrong.
- Read your texts out loud. Where you stumble, tell Claude: it learns from it.
- Correct it when it doesn’t sound like you, and ask it to add the rule to your sheet.
- One voice per sheet. Work account and personal account? Make two sheets.
Frequently asked questions
How many texts do I need at minimum?
About 10. Below that, Claude generalises too much.
Does it work if I'm just starting and have published almost nothing?
Yes. Record yourself out loud on 5 topics you know well and use those transcripts.
Do my texts stay private?
Check your account’s privacy settings before putting sensitive content in. Keep anything about clients out of the document.
