Before you start: note 5 numbers (10 minutes)
- The time you give per client each week, calls and messages included.
- The number of places you can follow without burning out.
- What you want to earn from this program (a goal, not a promise).
- Who follows you: age, country, job. They indicate what your audience can pay.
- Your costs: tools, help from an editor or an assistant, payment fees.
The message to copy
You are going to help me set the price of my offer and its payment method. I'm not technical: talk to me in simple words and go one step at a time.
Rules: invent no market price, no statistic, no promise. Work only with my numbers. If you suggest an order of magnitude, present it as a hypothesis to test. For anything related to the law (right of withdrawal, invoicing, taxes), tell me to check the rules of my country and to ask an accountant or a lawyer.
Step 1. Ask me my offer in 3 sentences, the time I give each client, the number of places I can follow, what I want to earn, my costs and who follows me (age, country, job).
Step 2. Calculate for me: the total revenue for each possible number of places, and the value of my hour for each price. Show the calculation in a table.
Step 3. Suggest 3 prices to test (low, medium, high). For each: the reasoning, what it says about my offer, the risks and what it takes to justify it (proof, results).
Step 4. Compare 3 payment methods: one-off payment, payment in 2 or 3 installments, monthly subscription. For each: advantages, risks (failed payments, dropouts), likely effect on the number of people who sign. Recommend one for my situation.
Step 5. Write the procedure for a failed payment, in 5 steps: detect, check it is not a technical incident, note it in a tracking table (client | amount | date | status | next action), follow up with a human message without blame, decide what to do if the client doesn't answer. Write the 4-line follow-up message.
Step 6. Write the sentence to announce my price on a call and in a message: clear, without apology, with what the person gets.
Step 7. Summarize my price rule in 5 lines: my price to test, my payment method, my number of places, the date I review these choices and what I look at to decide (for example the number of people who say yes).
How it works
- Open a new conversation in your assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another).
- Paste the message above and give your 5 numbers.
- Check the calculation with a calculator, then write down your price rule.
To make it work well
- Don’t copy another creator’s price without understanding what they sell and to whom.
- A price gets tested. You keep it a few weeks and you watch what people say.
- Get the legal aspects checked (withdrawal, invoice, taxes) before you sell.
- Plan for failed payments from the start: simple tracking avoids oversights.
Frequently asked questions
Should I lower my price if nobody signs?
Not necessarily. First look at where people drop off: the offer isn’t clear, proof is missing, or the price really is too high. The AI helps you find out.
Should I offer payment in installments?
Often it helps people sign, but it requires follow-up. Decide with the table from step 4 and your follow-up rhythm.
Can I display my price on my page?
Yes, it’s your choice. Some creators give it on the call to understand the person first. The AI can write both versions.
Does ChatGPT do the same calculation as Claude?
Yes, as long as you give it your numbers. Always check the calculation yourself.
