Before you start: gather your material (20 minutes)
- Your offer: who it is for, targeted result, length, price.
- Your audience’s problem: paste 10 real sentences from your followers (the guide “Understand what your audience really thinks” helps you collect them).
- Your method: what you do, in steps, and what makes it different.
- Your proof: testimonials, screenshots, verified figures. Without proof, the text stays weak.
- Your story: one precise moment (place, time, what happened), not a life summary.
The message to copy
You are going to help me write the sales video of my offer, 15 to 20 minutes long. I'm not technical: talk to me in simple words and go one step at a time. Stop after each step for me to validate.
Rules: invent no figures, no testimonials, no results. If proof is missing, write (to be filled in by me). No fake urgency. Write in the way I talk.
Video plan in 16 sections: 1 hook, 2 pain, 3 turning point, 4 promise and teaser of the method, 5 curiosity points, 6 short credibility, 7 story (optional), 8 why the person is stuck, 9 my method (with a name), 10 transition to the offer, 11 offer and first call to action, 12 testimonials, 13 projection, 14 the three choices (optional), 15 cost of inaction and real urgency, 16 final call to action.
Step 1. Check my material: ask me my offer, my audience's problem, my method, my proof and my story. Tell me what is missing to write a solid video.
Step 2. Suggest 3 to 5 strong ideas for the video, scored from 1 to 5 on: novelty, audience desire, clear benefit, credibility, right timing. I choose.
Step 3. Find why people fail (a hidden cause, not a lack of effort) and a 2 or 3 word name for my method. Suggest 5 names. I choose.
Step 4. Write the introduction (sections 1 to 6) in 400 to 700 words maximum. The hook doesn't point at the person: use a general statement or a figure I provided. Don't reveal my method in the introduction.
Step 5. Write the heart (sections 7 to 9): the story in scenes if it helps, why the person is stuck, then my method with its name, without revealing everything.
Step 6. Write the selling part (sections 10 to 16): the offer presented as benefits, the testimonials, the projection, the cost of inaction with real urgency (places, slots), the final call to action.
Step 7. Diagnose the whole text section by section. Look for these mistakes: introduction too long, method revealed too early, no explanation of the obstacle, too much about me, story without scenes, points that give the answer, credibility that reads like a CV, hidden call to action. Rank the fixes as critical, important, minor. Apply the critical fixes. Then prepare an editing brief: a table (moment | sentence of the text | proof to show on screen).
How it works
- Open a new conversation in your assistant (Claude, ChatGPT or another).
- Paste the message above, then your material. Validate each step.
- Read the final text out loud, then give the editing brief to your editor.
To make it work well
- Show, don’t tell. Every claim should have proof visible on screen when you say it.
- Keep the introduction short. If it goes beyond 3 minutes, the view curve drops.
- Don’t deliver your whole method. Give the logic, not the full instructions.
- Read it out loud. If a sentence bothers you, change it.
- Have a trusted person read it, especially the figures and the promises.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to recite the text word for word on camera?
No. Follow the structure in your own words. A natural text is worth more than a recited teleprompter.
What if I don't have testimonials?
Leave (to be filled in by me) and collect a few first. A sales video without proof converts little.
I don't want to show my face. Can I do it differently?
Yes. The plan also works as slides or voice-over with visuals. Ask the AI for an adapted version.
Claude or ChatGPT: which is better?
Both work. This guide was designed to work with either.
